Curtis Loftis to cut back on time off for state employees?

The Blogland has received word that incoming State Treasurer Curtis Loftis, in his quest to make state government more efficient, has proposed a policy making state employees work twice as hard on their birthdays.

If these reports are true, the we must respectfully disagree with him on this policy and hope that he'll reconsider this idea.

At least to make a one-day exception today, since it's his birthday.

Be sure to wish Curtis a Happy Birthday!
