John King: State House Dummy of the Week

This quote on the issue of Voter ID from the Rock Hill Herald is another moment which shows us how Rock Hill State Representative John King is either stupid or dishonest (we're betting on stupid but dishonest wouldn't surprise us either).

For some people, it could take hundreds of dollars to get an identification with a picture that they never in their lives have needed before. To me, that seems like a poll tax, and that is illegal.

According to the SC DMV website, ID cards cost five bucks and twenty-five for a full driver's license. So we're not sure where King gets these numbers from.

Since it's obvious that John King hasn't been to the DMV lately, maybe someone needs to see if he has a driver's license.

Having seen one show up with a NY State driver's license to cast a SC ballot (and a Highway Patrol senior officer (eg Lt or above) with a SCDL showing another county as residence) I am not at all suprised by the nihiliscence of this nebbish.

Wanna bet he still sees Alvin Green and A. Weiner as victims that should be exempt from eventually being on the sex offenders registry?

Rep. KIng says voters will have to pay hundreds of dollars to get a valid ID in South Carolina. I think I will get a SBA loan and hire 20 people and only charge $99.00 for an ID . Do you think I can get a contract with the DMV ? IT would save the taxpayers so much money and create jobs...wait a minute that sounds like STIMULUS.Thanks Rep. King your are a genius.

Maybe that's hundreds of dollars for a fake ID. Is Rep. King on hte inside of that scam? Is SLED or Homeland Security checking on that?

If you can't reasonably debate the matter at hand, you turn to an emotionally charged politically correct reference, this time, tada, it's racism.(poll tax)
It's time they try something different.
Dishonesty wins by a nose, Stupidity in at a strong second.

If you think that's bad, you should see what his relatives did in Chester.
